Dwight Ward

Dwight Ward's pottery studio sits at the edge of Jolly Bay, about 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico on the panhandle of Florida. It is an idyllic, inspirational setting and inspire it does. Whether it be Ward's earthy stoneware utilitarian pieces or his sculptural raku, there is a feeling of nature in his work. When subjective, his subjects are most often of nature... fish, leaves, dragonflies, and his colors also seemed to be inspired by nature. Dwight has been a big part of building the Artists at Gulf place and continues to lead the way as he continually inspires and supports the community of artists.

Stop by on Thursdays to see Dwight at the gallery!
